The Revels Events team arrange Community Events for Peppard, in response to a local or national celebration.
This year, 2019, we have been asked to help celebrate the "reopening" of the Village Sports Pavilion on Stoke Row Road on Saturday August 31st 2019.
The Pavilion is a WW2 memorial, and as 2019 celebrates 75 years since WW2 D-Day, the event has a WW2 theme.
In the afternoon, from 3-5pm there will be a Family Fun with a display of classic military vehicles, a barbecue, bar, fun-run, family rounders game, exhihitions and displays and the obligatory inflatable slide/bouncy castle.
In the evening, from 7-10pm there will be a WW2 forties-themed dinner dance with an 18-piece Glen Miller style band Soundforce and dinner by "Greens Caterers" in a themed marquee.
Tickets for the evening-event are £30 per person (includes dinner and free glass of bubbly).
On 8th May 2020, we will be remembering 75 years since the end of WW2 - more details to follow. WW2 memorial mugs celebrating 75 years since the end of WW2 will be available at both events.
